Flexible Live Sound Hire

I specialise in providing sound to the function band market (for weddings, corporate and similar events).

Flexible PA for live bands

With a vast experience of function events, I am able to work to tight timescales and turnarounds often encountered at events in the function market. As such I have built lasting relationships with clients based on our friendly efficient service and our flexibility with available facilities. And of course it goes without saying that the quality of the sound is superb, both on stage and in front of stage. A happy band gives a better performance! A fully-engineered PA hire ranges from £250 to £500 depending on options and timings of the event.

My equipment is fully PAT-tested and I have £2million public liability insurance (certificates available on request). For this fully-managed sound hire I cover the whole of London, the Home Counties, the Midlands and South Central England down to Dorset.

Speakers for iPod and laptops

I also provide dry hire of powered speakers (self-operated) for use with iPods and laptops if you want to play your own choice of music at a party or wedding without the cheese of a DJ... (of course if you are a DJ your mixer will work with this system too!)
Prices from £50 (2x 500W powered speakers on stands plus accessories) to £150 (full bi-amped speakers for a big bass sound) for a weekend hire. Price per event not per day and inclusive of delivery, setup and collection within a 10 miles radius of Croydon.

Microphone for speeches and ceremomies

Similar to hiring speakers for background and disco music, I can supply radio mics (clip-on lavalier or handheld) with appropriate small speakers. This could be for wedding speeches, larger wedding ceremonies (clip-on mic for the priest or registrar). This can be self-operated or attended by a qualified sound engineer. You can of course still use the speakers for playing background music.
