Kent Brass Quintet Kent Brass Quintet are a brass quintet formed from top class orchestral and jazz musicians, with an exciting and varied repertoire. Be it processional music for your wedding ceremony, or trad and swing jazz for your reception, we have the variety and experience to cover all occasions.

We don't just do weddings of course. Our informal and uplifting jazzy sets go down well at fetes, fairs, garden parties and outdoor functions and our background music is highly suited to cocktail parties, sporting dinners and other formal evening occasions. If you're looking to book a string quartet, book us instead and we'll provide a memorable alternative.

All events are different, and as such we charge no flat rate. Contact us at the email below with some details and we'll provide a quote based on factors such as playing time and travelling time.

Kent Brass Quintet are a group of professional and semi-professional musicians from the South East of England with a wide breadth of talent and experience, tapping into the rich vein of musical energy around Kent and Surrey.

Our repertoire ranges from hymns and recessionals for church services through classical to contemporary arrangements of jazz and pop. We do not need any power or any special requirements to perform - just 5 chairs to sit on, and a space to play. Although we are totally acoustic, for large functions, we can provide a high quality sound system which can cope with any size venue you use - this can also be made available for speeches as required.
SPECIAL OFFER FOR 2011: book us for your church or civil service and we will provide an hour of music as the guests arrive to your reception for no extra charge (subject to reasonable distance between service and reception - longer playing time will incur a small extra charge)

If you are interested in booking a brass quintet, email brass@andrewlipscombe.co.uk with some details of your event and a rough budget and we will contact you with our availability, and a quotation. If you haven't fixed a date or venue, it would help us to know roughly when and where the event will be (despite the name, we work everywhere throughout London and the South East, and England - obviously further from London we have to increase the fee to cover travelling costs).
